On the Bar
Four lines on at any time: two permanent cask ales, plus rotating guests.
Cask Ales
Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Cromarty's Happy Chappy are permanent fixtures. Our two guest lines rotate, usually changing monthly, though a popular ale will always stay a little longer.
Timothy Taylor, Keighley · Pale Ale
A multiple Champion Beer of Britain. Complex and well-rounded, with floral, hoppy aromas and a smooth, satisfying finish. A proper classic that earns its permanent spot.
Cromarty Brewing, Highlands · Pale Ale
A lively Highland pale loaded with American and Australian hops. Tropical mango and pine over a crisp, refreshing body. A firm favourite at the bar.
Dunfermline, Fife · Pale Ale
A local Fife pale ale from just up the road in Dunfermline. Light, golden and properly sessionable.
Oakham Ales, Peterborough · Blonde Ale
A golden blonde ale and a Champion Beer of Britain winner. Clean and fresh, with bright citrus and grapefruit from the hops and a crisp, dry finish.
Guest ales regularly feature Harviestoun, Orkney, Loch Lomond and Fyne Ales. Ask at the bar for tonight's guest, or what's coming on next.
By the Glass & Bottle
A small, well-chosen list of reds, whites, rosé and sparkling. Ask at the bar for today's pour, or see the full selection.
Also Pouring
Alongside the ales and wines you'll find a wide variety of draught lagers, Guinness, ciders and bottled beers, plus gins, rum, vodka and a proper Scottish whisky selection. Prices are listed in the pub, so just ask at the bar.
